When we were scheduling his appointments with his psychologist (who was excellent, by the way), we were told that even though my son had had suicidal thoughts, without actual suicidal ideation, he could only come every other week. And if he had suicide ideation? Once a week. For someone actively planning a suicide? This is NOT sufficient care.
