For many years Kaiser Permanente has systematically understaffed its mental health and substance abuse disorder services leading to dangerously long wait times for care and sometimes even outright denials of service. These delays and denials of care are completely unacceptable, put patients at risk, and speak to Kaiser’s ongoing refusal to respect mental health parity laws. Kaiser enrollees have a right to demand ethical care, and this page is designed to help inform and empower Kaiser patient community.
