In May, NUHW members celebrated an important legal victory in the fight for mental health parity, picketed with their nurse colleagues to re-open a recently shuttered birthing center, celebrated further growth of our 1,700+ member Keck-USC membership, won the best contract of any Southern California Kindred Hospital, and resolved to strike for three days in order to win a fair contract at Children’s Hospital Oakland.
