This is unacceptable and dangerous

Published Friday, September 30, 2022

I have been a Kaiser member as well as an employee since 2004. In all of these years, I have never received industry standard mental health care for myself or my family! I have spent my own money and payed out of pocket for short term therapy when I or my family needed it. How can Kaiser continue to send financial reports to us showing that they are making incredible profits and yet not pay for the industry standard mental health care that is promised to us? I once was able to talk with a therapist during a crisis in my life; I was given 3 appointments and then told to begin medication for anxiety with no follow up offered! This is unacceptable and dangerous!
