So I go without care

Published Friday, October 11, 2019

Kaiser says you dont need a referral to recieve mental healthcare, at any of their facilities. However, it’s been a couple of years now and I’m still unable to get an appointment at my local medical offices in Pasadena. Pasadena medical offices insist I need a referral from the Sunset hospital location. They say I need to be evaluated first, before I can see a therapist, at my local offices. Even though I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder in 2008, by Kaiser. I am physically unable to get to the Sunset location in order to be referred to the Pasadena location. So I go without care… I have spoken with many Kaiser representatives. No one has been able to help me get the care I need. It’s so ridiculous!
