So Disappointed with my experience at Kaiser

Published Tuesday, December 11, 2018

I loved my therapist and my psychiatrist, but I needed a psych eval for help with a problem, and I couldn’t get the eval for more three months because of how over-impacted the unit was. I ended up leaving Kaiser as a result. I was lucky that I had a qualifying life event that allowed me to leave Kaiser and get services somewhere else, where I was quickly assessed and able to access care within a month. I would still be waiting if I were a Kaiser patient. I was so disappointed with my experience with Kaiser. I’m not sure why Kaiser calls itself a “leader” in healthcare. Kaiser is complacent, and, in some cases, downright negligent.
