On a waiting list for over five months

I have been on a waiting list since February 6, 2022 for a new psychiatrist after having a bad experience with my current one. My current psychiatrist did not listen to the symptoms I described to him and instead made up his own diagnosis that had nothing to do with what I said. He prescribed me medication that I absolutely do not need and I am not going to take. It would do nothing but make me sleepy. I have been trying to get help for years and I thought Kaiser would finally be the place I could get it. This has to be one of the most disappointing mental health experiences. I want a doctor who will really listen to me.
