It took forever to get an appointment
Published Thursday, February 14, 2019It took forever to get an appointment when my daughter was experiencing depression and anxiety attacks. The Kaiser facility we went to was an old building, somewhat hidden, and it was hard to find the entrance. It was dark and depressing, like an old mental hospital. This has to be unsettling for the young people coming in with mental health issues. This was shocking given Kaiser’s new buildings on Broadway and MacArthur. It is obvious that Kaiser isn’t investing equal resources in its mental healthcare facilities staffing. Very disappointing and very sad!
