I’m very worried about my mental health

Published Thursday, May 30, 2019

After more than a year of trying to access Kaiser’s mental health care, I had to check in the hospital to get more help. If I had been able to see a therapist more than once a month, I probably could have avoided the hospital stay. I am now out of the hospital going to intensive outpatient program and I have only had one one-on-one session with a psychiatrist. It has been two weeks. I feel that there is not enough help at Kaiser. I pay a lot to have health care and now I think I will need help outside of Kaiser psychiatry to really help me. I’m very worried about my mental health.
