I was only able to see a therapist once every six weeks
Published Wednesday, March 20, 2019I was only able to see a therapist once every six weeks. If the therapist or I were sick at the time of the appointment, I’d have to wait another six weeks to see her — that means I would go three months between appointments. Kaiser encouraged me to go with group therapy, but there were certain things I didn’t want to share in a group. Also, the development of a bond with the therapist is very important, and you can’t build that bond under these conditions. I finally ended up going elsewhere to get the care I needed.
