I continue to wait
Published Wednesday, July 3, 2019I switched to Kaiser at the end of 2018, and began seeking ongoing treatment for major depressive order and generalized anxiety disorder, which I’ve struggled with since I was a teenager. I saw a psychiatrist in February 2019 — and from there made an appointment to see a general therapist, who I couldn’t see until April. In five months, I had two in-person sessions and two phone appointments. In June, when I felt the need to further examine my symptoms, I was informed I could not be seen until September. I’ve been resistant to this, but have yet to be referred an outside therapist and continue to wait.’
