Eternity to get an appointment
Published Friday, November 23, 2018I have terrible anxiety and depression. I waited an eternity to get an appointment. I live in an area where there is only one Kaiser clinic. They wanted me to drive to the hospital for appointments – a 45-minute drive (longer if there is a wreck on the pass). Now I see someone out of the network, but Kaiser has been pushing to put me in group therapy. That scares me so much. If they do that, I will quit going. I cannot stand the thought of sitting with people I don’t know and talking about my problems. I am getting sick just thinking about that.
