Eight months to connect with a therapist

It took over eight months to connect with a therapist. I had to schedule two interviews with a Kaiser administrator, which were booked out 2-3 months. I was under the impression I would be talking to a therapist during these, but this was more of an intake interview. After the second interview, I was told that no therapist in the area would be available for another two months! I decided to book anyway and loved the therapist I was connected to. Turns out this only lasted for a year! After a year of seeing the therapist, I needed to go through the initial interviews again to see if I still qualified. Very disappointed.
