Checked myself into county mental health facility because I could not get an appointment with a Kaiser doctor

Published Sunday, September 4, 2022

I had regular appointments with my psychologist every three months and could not get appointments sooner as needed. He could not give me a followup appointment while I was there and had to wait until he contacted me. If that appointment wasn’t good for me timewise I had to wait another three months. On a few occasions I had to check myself into the county mental health facility during a crisis because I could not get an appointment with a Kaiser doctor. Horrible, horrible. Not enough staff for the patients and I pay over $1,000 monthly for insurance
