Access to appointments crucial to feelings of safety

There have been times when I would have liked to receive care more frequently but understood that there was not availability. I would struggle with not knowing when my next appointment would be. I also struggled with a lack of security, not knowing if I’d be able to have an appointment when I needed it. Having access to appointments when I need them is so very crucial to my feelings of safety and security, especially when battling trauma, depression, and addiction. It would have been so much nicer and helpful to have more frequent visits and knowing that those visits are more readily available instead of being on a waiting list!
