October 2024 PULSE

In October, NUHW members at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California began an open-ended strike to end the inequities in Kaiser’s behavioral healthcare system. Below is a website where you can donate to their hardship fund. Also in October, NUHW members won hard-fought contracts at AHMC Seton facilities in the Bay Area and Kindred Santa Cruz.

NUHW November 2024 election endorsements
NUHW members interviewed hundreds of candidates for local, state, and federal political offices this year. Based on their recommendations, our member-led Executive board has endorsed the most pro-worker candidates in races across California.
