Presented by the Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division

The Nursing Mothers Act is a federal law that requires employers to provide reasonable break time and a private space for nursing mothers to express breast milk while at work. Join Department of Labor representatives for an explainer of the new law, as well as a review of established rules around hours worked, including overtime rules, meal and rest breaks, and exempt vs. non-exempt classifications.
