CHIRLA’s Know Your Rights train-the-trainer workshop will provide NUHW staff and member leaders with the skills to help immigrants understand their legal rights when interacting with immigration authorities, including the right to remain silent, the right to an attorney, and the limitations on when and where immigration agents can detain or question them. Special attention will be paid to healthcare settings and HIPAA.

Our member trainings include organizing fundamentals, bargaining strategies, political engagement and representational skills essential to strengthening and growing our union. Continued education classes are also available online.
