Workers at Mission Neighborhood Health Center in San Francisco vote to join NUHW
49 workers at Mission Neighborhood Health Center in San Francisco voted 43-2 to join NUHW today. The workers, who had been members of SEIU-UHW, overwhelmingly voted to join NUHW over “No Union.”
Unhappy with SEIU’s poor representation and employer-friendly approach to bargaining, workers demonstrated such clear majority support for NUHW that SEIU disclaimed interest in the bargaining unit and left the election uncontested.
