United in Michigan
Last week, NUHW President Sal Rosselli visited workers in Saginaw and Muskegon, Michigan, who are organizing to get out of SEIU and join NUHW. As in California, SEIU’s Michigan Healthcare local has been settling substandard contracts and failing to represent its members at the worksite. Healthcare workers in Michigan have had enough, and are committed to putting members in charge of their union by getting out of SEIU.
