NUHW sends big contingent to Healthy California Now Lobby Day

On August 29, Healthy California Now, the state’s largest coalition of organizations supporting a single-payer, Medicare For All-style healthcare system, held a Lobby Day in Sacramento.
NUHW had a large contingent at the event during which advocates met with members of the State Assembly urging them to pass SB 770. The bill, which has already passed the State Senate and Assembly Health Committee, would help pave the way to making California the first state to guarantee health care for all its residents.
