December 21st, 2016
With a busy primary season and historic November general election, NUHW members tirelessly worked the phones and hit the streets on behalf of our endorsed candidates and issues. More than 80 percent of our endorsed candidates won!

Kaiser steward Angela Williams and her husband, along with NUHW Organizer Edan Dhanraj and his family, campaigned for Bryan Caforio in his bid for the 25th Congressional District seat.
Kaiser steward Anne Rose volunteered at the headquarters of Sharon Quirk-Silva’s campaign for California Assembly District 65.
Dozens of NUHW members and staff kicked off Jane Kim’s bid for a state Senate seat with a Saturday morning precinct walk.
NUHW members at Children’s Hospital Oakland braved the weather to campaign for Larry Reid’s re-election to the Oakland City Council.
Daly City Vice-Mayor Dave Canepa and San Francisco Supervisor Jane Kim supported our members at a community town hall for Seton Medical Center and Seton Coastside.
California Pacific Medical Center workers volunteered for Hillary Ronen’s campaign for the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Ronen, long-time aide to Supervisor David Campos, has been a strong supporter of our contract fights in San Francisco.
