NUHW launches website for Kaiser mental health patients

June 9th, 2014

NUHW has launched a new website for Kaiser mental health patients: The Kaiser Patient Advocate. In light of Kaiser’s failure to provide timely and appropriate care for patients throughout the state, the site, at KaiserMentalHealth.com, is a valuable resource for Kaiser members and caregivers, providing clear and concise information on patient rights and paths of recourse when they are denied the care they need, deserve, and pay for. The site includes:

• Tips and suggestions for getting better mental health care from Kaiser.

• Instructions on how to file a complaint with Kaiser.

• Answers to frequently asked questions.

• Press articles, updates regarding Kaiser mental health services, and other helpful documents.

We hope you’ll help us spread the word about the websites, which is part of NUHW’s mission to improve the quality of care for our patients. The site invites patients and caregivers to share their experiences regarding Kaiser’s mental health services.
