NUHW creates wildfire relief fund
NUHW’s Executive Board voted this month to provide monetary relief to members impacted by this year’s California wildfires.
NUHW will provide $500 to members forced to evacuate their homes and $1,000 to members whose homes are damaged by the fires. The fund is available to victims of wildfires that have already taken place this year or might still occur during wildfire season. If you qualify, please contact your organizer.
“NUHW members once again demonstrated their commitment to care for patients and do their jobs amid the biggest wildfire season ever recorded,” NUHW President Sal Rosselli said. “We’re proud to be able to help our members after they did so much to help their communities.”
