Latinx leaders discuss Medicare for All

NUHW and Healthy California Now hosted an informative panel on achieving Medicare for All in California. Civil rights icon Dolores Huerta and other Latinx leaders from across the state discussed how barriers to health care have impacted Latinx and immigrant communities during the pandemic and how Medicare for All in California can eliminate the health disparities in the state.

Huerta was joined by San Francisco Supervisor Myrna Melgar, former San Francisco Supervisor and California Democratic Party Vice-Chair David Campos, Dr. Yohualli Balderas-Medina Anaya, Unite Here Local 11 Co-President Ada Briceño, and Alhambra City Councilmember Sasha Rene Perez.
