KQED’s Forum discusses mental health parity, NUHW’s Kaiser struggle
KQED, San Francisco’s public radio station, devoted its June 10 Forum program to the issue of mental health parity. One of the featured guests was KQED reporter April Dembosky, who has extensively covered NUHW members’ long struggle to bring Kaiser Permanente’s mental health services into compliance with state and federal mental health parity laws. Dembosky discussed our Kaiser struggle in the first ten minutes of the broadcast.
