On December 8, they encouraged our bargaining committee to accept their pitiful proposal, and said that the offer would be withdrawn if we did not accept by  December 22.

Remember, if we accept this offer, one-third of us will get NO WAGE INCREASE AT ALL during the first year of the contract.

Our NUHW Bargaining Committee agreed to bring the proposal to our members for a vote, with an overwhelming recommendation to REJECT this insulting “offer.”

Voting NO will not only reject the employer’s proposal; it will also authorize our Bargaining Committee to give 10 days’ notice for an informational picket when they determine it is appropriate, likely after the holidays.
